OK....so I got this new haircut...and my hair just happens to be naturally curly. Before i used to put it in a ponytail so no-body really noticed. Then i got my hair layered so i have to let it loose. But everyone keeps on asking me IF IT'S MY NATURAL CURLS! I get soo frustrated!! I MEAN....i don't want to be fake girl and even be SEEN like one. I keep telling them it's natural and then someone else comes and asks me AGAIN. How do i convince them that it's NATURAL???

As they see you more and more with it down and curly they will ask less and less. I have the same problem as you. I too always have it up so when its down it draws attention and questions. Hang in there it will get better. :)

I used to have waist long hair and it was very thick and straight. I just recently cut it for "Locks for Love" for the cancer wigs for children to just below my ears and it was like "Poing" curls, a lot of them. I never knew my hair was curly short. I get asked that all the time and all I say is that I just found out I had curly hair when it's short.

I don't think you're fake. You can just tell them it's not fake, it's real. It's something to start a conversation with and you might make a new friend. Look at it that way.

It really doesn't matter I think. Just tell them it's natural when they ask and leave it at that. And I've never considered somebody who permed or curled their hair to be fake. I color my hair and that doesn't make me fake, it just means I like a change once in awhile. Once you've had it curly for awhile then people will stop asking you. And look at it this way, at least they notice your hair, some people could get a new haircut and nobody would even notice it.

yeah, so your hair is naturally curly...I don't know where you live, but i have never heard of anyone being known as "fake" for curling their hair anyways. If anyone would judge your personality on whether or not your hair is naturally like that or not...they're weird. just tell the truth & if they don't believe you, they're stupid. :]

if people are asking you if its your natural curls don't get so offended. they're just interested in your haircut and asking about it since they haven't seen your hair down before. just say yes its natural and walk away. if they don't believe you tell them to pull on your curls. it'll boing back! hahah. you don't need to get hissy over something small like this :)

The only person that needs to know that it's real is you! Don't get such a complex, take it as a compliment that people are noticing you more because of your new do!
