Hello!
I like a boy who has just recently exited a 5 year relationship. Things were moving along with him and I but the girlfriend is back on the scene. What course of action do you suggest - (a) tell him that I like/want him and let him decide, (b) leave it and let him decide or (c) your suggestion.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you

Let him know how you feel, but respect the close of his relationship with her. Sometimes after you leave someone, you need to go back, just to be sure that you did the right thing. Let him find out what he really wants. If you try to push him too soon, you will be hurt. If he is seeing her, I would not just sit around and wait. Tell him that until he makes his decision, you think that it would be best for the two of you to part ways. He will be back if he really wants a relationship with you.

There was a reason she went away in the first place and five will get you ten, that reason is still existent. Five years is a long time for a romance so somebody was leery of something. There isn't a whole lot you can do but be sympathetic and a good friend. A good friend, BTW, is one who listens, "hears" what is said, expresses concern, and gives advice only when asked.

The best thing to do is express your feelings and lay back too much history involved and we are more likely to be with what we are use to as a opposed to the new and potentially just as painful in the end type of relationship cause long term ends with pain and to relieve that is easier than moving on, feel me

Does he know you like him? If you already have dialog going, then rise above and don't let him see jealously, rather maturity. Tell him you understand that he needs closure from his relationship once and for all before he can even consider exploring anything with you. And walk away. He'll be back. You don't want to be rebound anyway...

Tell him how you feel, but let him get over her you dont wanna be the rebound girl and end up getting hurt, but always be there for him he seems like a really good friend to you, and your soulmate is usally the one who is always in front of your nose!

You still need to ask, maybe you on the rebound end to bolster his confidence not promote yourself . I would tell him to get over her or you will end up babysitting feelings of her shadow. If not move on . It is a relationship doomed for heartache.

if you think this guy is really worth it go with the bigger risk which in the end hopefully will get you the bigger reward go with A. but you have to take into account someone will get hurt tryin to get this guy. the trouble is that he has a history with this girl but if he is at the point where he wants to move on you gotta take advantage of that

toss your hat in the ring by letting him know you're interested, otherwise he will go back to the one he knows.
