I guess fear is really the only thing that keeps you from trying absolutely everything to overcome a problem, so yeah, I guess I'd agree.
For example, you don't do something illegal to overcome a problem because you're afraid of getting caught/being a bad person.
You don't change your career because you're afraid of what it could mean for the rest of your life.
Sometimes, though, fear is there for a reason.

Fear is just an emotion. A strong person can control all their emotions. That is called Self-control. Fear is a waste of energy and does not help one react to a situation optimally.
So, I would say Yes.

It's basically identical to what FDR said in his first inaugural speech that "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself." That's true. Fear is one emotion that can control an individual and a nation. It's powerful. The only weapon against it is courage, conviction, and confidence.

Overcoming fear is the definition of bravery.
You can't have bravery without fear.
So, I'd agree with that statement.

It's true. Fear is a barrier. Overcome that fear and you can get passed the barrier and then anything is possible.

There are some cultures that refer to fear as "the little death". I think they're right.
