Chuck "the iceman" Liddell is the current light heavyweight UFC champion. He is known for his superb defense takedowns, and his "one punch knock-outs"
Jet Li is a superb actor, known for skillful acrobatics, and has won numerous FORMS wu-shu competitions.
Chuck has about 65lbs on Jet Li
Chuck obviously has experience fighting, Jet Li doesn't, he's a wu-shu FORMS champion, no sparring experience.
There's the chance of a lucky punch, and during a fight no competitor should be underestimated, still I give the edge (and a big one) to Chuck "the iceman" Liddell.

Chuck has stated he'd fight anyone in the world, and not just for money. He invited anyone who wanted to come over put some gloves on and go rounds so he can see if he's better than you. I don't think Jet Li would be stupid enough to accept that challenge else we'd be watching the PPV right now. Chuck is a pro MMA fighter, and jet li studied Wushu which i'm sorry, is more of a spectacle than 'martial' arts. Beautiful and very difficult to do unless you're very acrobatic, but martial? I doubt it very much.
Chuck Liddell wins by punches no less than 40seconds into the first round.

Jet Li is an actor and not a no holds barred pit fighter like Chuck Liddell. Sure Jet Li can scrap and handle weapons and all, and his movies are pretty cool, but the Iceman is the real deal. Fight never happens, Liddell would'nt mess with him, Jet Li is too cool.

1) Jet Li is alot older than Chuck.
2) Jet Li is alot smaller than Chuck.
3) Jet Li studied Wushu (which is more like acrobatics than real fighting) while Chuck studied Kempo, BJJ, kickboxing and wrestled in college.
4) Jet Li is an actor while Chuck is a professional fighter.
5) Jet Li himself has said in interviews that he knows how to "movie fight" but would not win against a trained opponent.
In other words Chuck would destroy him... And probably feel pretty bad about doing it too.
People on here need to learn the difference between a real fight and the movies...

Jet..although I love him..would get destroyed. Jet Li was in fact a national champion in wushu but he never competed in any sparring events. He only did forms. He is capable of doing some really fancy footwork but he never did contact fighting. Jet would be punished by just about any UFC fighter not only Chuck.

I honestly cannot believe that so many people actually think that Jet Li, an actor can beat a professional fighter like Chuck. PEOPLE COME ON
Chuck Liddell would wreck Jet Li's skinny ***, and not even break a sweat doing it.

Chuck, because Jet Li is a traditional martial artist and not used to UFC rules. also chuck outweighs jet by a few pounds i am sure. jet has not trained for a real fight since god knows when, theres a difference between functional mass and pretty boy mass and chuck has functional. to the person that said jet li is innovative, that wont affect it when chuck dumps him on the ground and kimuras him (chuck is not the greatest grappler in the world but im sure he knows when to use it)

Serious? Anyone who would even think to say Jet Li needs to have their heads examined. Jet Li would lose to pretty much any UFC or Pride fighter regardless of weight class. To put an Actor...if he can even be called that against a profesional fighter is ludacris. It would be no different than asking who would win in a fight....Sylvester Stalone pretending to be Rocky or Vladimir Klitchko (pardon my spelling). The only way Jet Li would win the fight would be if it was a Hollywood movie, and then it would be fake and not a fight. Come on people, if your going to ask a MMA question, at least be real about it.

It is nice to know that there are people in this world dumber than I am. I'm still laughing at the comical/foolish answers I just read! Jet Li is an ACTOR!ACTOR!ACTOR! Chuck is the UFC light heavy weight champion. That means he is a real fighter who would probably accidentally kill Jet Li if they fought.

Jet Li would. he know Shaolin kungfu. It's extremely powerful offensive and defensive. If they fought now... Chuck Liddell might win because of age....
