U.S. Muslims call for 9/11/02 "Day of Unity and Prayer"
All faiths urged to open houses of worship for interfaith activities
A national American Muslim political council today announced a "National Day of Unity and Prayer" designed to coincide with the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
The American Muslim Political Coordination Council (AMPCC), made up of the nation's four most prominent Muslim political advocacy groups,* called on all faith communities to participate in the national observance by opening houses of worship on September 11, 2002, for interfaith visits, prayers, congregational exchanges, and other activities intended to foster national unity and religious tolerance.
A web site will be established to allow local mosques, churches, synagogues, and other religious institutions to register their participation in the national event.

This is how Muslims "should" be.
There are still people out there who care to send the right message of Islam. That is very good.

It is a good action for supporting peace keeping in USA and other countries.It should be supported by all religion followers and atheists in USA .We must unite each other if we want be stronger..All religion followers should have a tolerance feeling by respecting each other religion because we are sisters and brothers as descendant of Adam And Eve.So the National Day of Unity and Prayer should be appreciated respected. and supported by all of us.On September 11,2002 the world trade center was collapsed by terrorists and muslims was insulted,but we do not know its strong proof and evidence.I heard that it was made by american and israel government for accusing muslim terrorists without a real fact..Islam is spreading out ,contributing and support ing to a condition for peaceful situation.

most muslims are peaceful people who do not blow things up..we support any peaceful activity............

they even have bombing, beheading ,raping,suicde activities.. so this is nothing to them.
