Ask that person. If they think it is your business, he/she will tell you. If you are just an individual, with no vested interest in the financials, and you aren't an employer looking at hiring the person for a job that requires financial stability, you are not entitled to any information unless that person wishes you to have it.

You can check the bankruptcy court's website for the appropriate district.

For example: http://www.mieb.uscourts.gov for the bankruptcy court in Detroit. Get a password for Pacer and go from there.
