Without getting into the morality (or lack thereof) of this situation I really have to ask the question: Am I the only one who paid attention in health class? STD's can be transmitted through sexual contact REGARDLESS of the protection you use. Speaking of protection, you never mentioned if you used any. Remember the saying that the only sure way to not catch a STD is abstinence?
Two things for you to mentally chew on:
1. Anyone you had sex with, or are having sex with complicates this situation.
2. Anyone this woman had/has sex with complicates this situation. I am not ( and neither should you be) naive enough to believe that you are the "only one" she's done this with. Not to mention the fact that she probably still has relations with her husband.
Go get a full STD (Herpes isn't normally included in a regular test ) test from your Doctor.
Pray the woman you marry doesn't have the same moral values that this woman does.

The ABSOLUTELY WORSE Mistake a person can Make in Life is to commit immorality with a MARRIED Woman; REGARDLESS of whether you get caught; or catch a venereal disease.
So Some BIG WORDS of Advise is even if you don't become HIV positive; MAKE IT YOUR AIM not to EVER make this mistake again.

There is always a chance. I would suggest that you stop sleeping with married women. Then get tested. Cease any risky behavior. That means no unprotected sex, at a minimum. No risky types of sex (read more about that using Google if you're not sure what is risky). Then get tested again 6 months after you stop doing risky stuff. Best of luck to you.

Both of you get a blood test and make sure.
Are you exclusive partners? Are you using protection?
What makes you concerned about HIV status after the fact?

You didn't mention whether you used any form of protection. The likelyhood of contracting HIV is lowest amongst heterosexual couples, however HIV can take several years to develop. Simple precautions are always advised.

Well her husband probably thinks since he only has sex with his wife, there's no way he can contract HIV from her because after all, she's negative and not having sex with anyone else....oh wait, she IS having sex with someone else!
You never know who your partner has been sleeping with I guess.

so you think that you got hiv from helping her cheat on her husband?
unless she has hiv or you have hiv or you got blood from some one with hiv in you or was exposed internally, with internal fluids from someone with hiv, then none of you should have hiv.
