Your best bet would be to get in touch with your local Greyhound racing Stadium. Depending on where you live depends on how much your kennel fees will be. You can pick a greyhound up for a couple of hundred pounds but the really good ones can cost upwards of £5,000. Back to the kennel fees though. These are what the trainer charges you for the upkeep of your dog. Where i live (Sheffield) These are about £45 a week although down south this will be more expensive. This may seem a lot but most greyhounds will obtain a certain amount of prize money every week so off setting so much of their kennel fees. Prize money varies from track to track but every greyhound which runs in a race will receive something. I hope you go ahead and purchase a greyhound as greyhound racing is a really exciting past time and there's no greater feeling then when you see your dog come home first. Good luck and i hope you find this information useful.

greyhound as pet to chase rabbits during your hunting season or greyhound RACE dogs ?

you can put Greyhound in RAce as long as you pay the Race Organiser what they ask, which usually comes up to a few millions per season.
