I don't see the purpose to become "good steward of our gifts and talents in this day and age". You must be another religious zealot mouthing something you heard in a church sermon.

Always stay connected to God and pray and study His word so that we can know what our gifts may be. He will eventually tell you and if He doesn't let you know then He doesn't want you to know. Just have faith that God is using us as He will. There are somethings we may never know but if we stay connected to God thru prayer and His word we are in a better position to know what makes a good steward and how to go about acting upon what we've learned about it.

This is not necessarily a Christian thing. Wiccans understand that the possession of gifts and talents is for their use in helping others. They are to be used where there is no thought of fee or reward of any kind. A witch uses her or his talent to do things merely because they need to be done, not for any other reason.
