Which Church in your mind is the Church of Revelation 17?

I believe the Catholic Church is the Church of Revelations17. She is the whore of Babylon. Babylon always was known as Rome. Her character, location and world wide reach has identified her with Rome. She has changed the Bibical Sabbath from Saturday to Sunda y and most of the Christian World has followed her lead. They have wondered after the beast. She has Killed millions of Christians over the centuries. She has wiped out three people groups from the face of the Earth. The Mark of the beast is the acceptance of observing Sunday as the Sabbath. That is the Mark of her Authority. The Mark of the beast is NOT literal. It is the acceptance of this Church's authority to change laws without the support of Scripture. The truth is that many are deceived. But they do not know that they are deceived. Jesus said, "Many are called but FEW are chosen." That is a sad fact but way too true.

I believe that to say that Revelatiosn 17 is referring to a church is not taking the Bible literally. You are interpreting. By what authority do you do so?

While many protestants have pondered the identity of the WOB, it could be that the WOB will be a false religion such as Islam.

I tend to think that based on prophecy of St. Malachy that show the next pope will fight the AntiChrist (http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/4/3/180901.shtml), that would disqualify the Catholic Church from being the WOB.
