Between last night and today I've lost my driver's liscence. I'll apply for a new one tomorrow but my flight is in 11 days. It seems unlikely that I'll get my new ID by then and I literally have no other form of photo ID. Is there any other method of ID that can get me through security?

DMV usually make them while you wait. It's done in like 1 minute after your picture is taken. Don't sweat it. Also, they can do state-issued ID cards the same way at DMV (or whatever the motor vehicles office is called where you are).

As long as the temporary ID was issued by a government agency like the Department of Licensing, it shouldn't be an issue. You may want to bring along another piece of picture ID such as a employee ID, school ID, or credit card with your picture on it just as a precaution.

I always find it funny when places want 2 pieces of picture ID as most people don't have anything other than their driver's license.

When you apply for a driver's licencse or state ID card in Washington you get a paper copy and a week or so later the plastic one arrives in the mail.

When you go to the DOL tomorrow ask if there is any way they can expidite your new ID so you can get it sooner (this may or may not be possible). It may cost a little more, but would be worth it.

I really doubt you can use that temp ID,as anyone can make one on the computer, nowadays and they will not accept it.. Do you have a work or military ID, with a photo???

I think you are going to have a problem if you can't get something with a photo. I would call the airline you are ticketed with and see if they have any ideas.
