does drinking lower calorie alcohol have the same effect as regular? Like do you need to drink more of it to get drunk?

They are all the same alcohol content, what makes them lower calorie may be using less sugar or a sweetner instead.
You shouldn't have to drink more to have the same effects.
Sort of like having a rum&coke or a rum&diet coke

Actually it depends on your alcohol tolerance. Each individual is different. Just be responsible when drinking and know your limit.


Remember...

A glass of white or red wine, a bottle of beer, and a shot of whiskey or other distilled spirits all contain equivalent amounts of alcohol and they are same to a Breathalyzer. A standard drink is:

* A 12-ounce bottle or can of regular beer
* A 5-ounce glass of wine
* A one and 1/2 ounce of 80 proof distilled spirits (either straight or in a mixed drink)
