If you want laparoscopic procedures, see the first link.

If you are talking open procedures, you'll probably need to buy a good surgical atlas. I've used "Zollinger's Atlas of Surgical Operations" in the past.

For perioperative medications, you'd have to consult a good surgical text. Again I've used Sabiston's "Textbook of Surgery", in the past, but I personally prefer "Greenfield's Surgery".

In addition, unless you have a good medical background, you'll probably want to invest in a good human anatomy atlas Netter's being med students' favorite now and a good text - Grant's Anatomy is favored at the local med school. You'll also want to invest in "Tools of the Trade, and Rules of the Road", and the time-less "Cope's Early Diagnosis of the Acute Abdomen".

Other than that, you'd have to train in a surgical residency after you finish med school. In other words, "Kids....don't try this at home." :-)
