I'd tell him you're not interested in a romantic relationship with him. It's better not to lead him on.
Instead of waiting for the next one, I would do what you can to make yourself more attractive. Maybe getting yourself in shape physically by developing healthy eating habits and exercise (find something active that you like doing, if you can). Also develop your mind and character (not that you're not already a smart and honorable person, I don't know).
If you have trouble attracting the type of men that you're attracted to maybe you can read some books about it or get some input from friends about how to improve yourself while still being your authentic self.

I think you should move on to the next guy. But!,however, please for the love of all that is holly don't be a b*tch and just ignore him tell him something like 'I know you wanted to go further but I don't feel any chemistry,so I can't develop a further relationship as far as blank' and then go from there.
If he is a man he'll except the cold hard truth.Maybe it will stab him in the heart and leave him in the cold.I don't think it will because you haven't gone out enough for that, but you have to communicate. We hate it when girls play games.

He might grow on you. If he is nice, takes you out, compliments you and most importantly has some very good things to offer you relationship wise eventually-why not keep him around? You can still see other people-you don't have to tell him unless you decide YOU want a committment with HIM.

If after a date, all you do is think about him; if you can't wait for him to call; can't wait to see him again; etc. Then keep it going. If after he leaves you don't really care either way, you probably need to tell him no thanks so that neither of you waste time.
Chemistry is usually a good sign of whether things will work.

Go for it! The worst that can happen is it won't work.

kiss him. if there are no sparks, best to get it over with and end it now. you deserve sparks. and if they aren't with him, you should find them with someone else. the two of you would end up bitter old saps otherwise.
