they would get on saying that they are 17year old when they is only 13 year of age. making up how they look and how they acked. I'm not saying that that you have to give all your imformation.

because they dont want to be judged. some people are ugly and need to feel pretty. online you cant be seen so you can be anyone you want. even Hally Berry. as for the age thats just wrong. why do you think so many people get into trouble.

In general, people lie because they are deeply insecure with themselves. No matter what the reason, people do things for some sort of expected payoff, even if the reason and the result are plain nutty. Listen to what people say, but always watch what people do. Don't let yourself be manipulated by smooth talkers.

my suggestion to you is not to be too trusting in relationships or friendships on the internet. Basically you dont know who is on the other end, and in some cases the consequences can be very dangerous, ive heard horror stories because people think the person they are dealing with is honest, when in actual fact they are misleading you. Because they can. Anonymity is an amazing thing. You can be whatever you want and no one will know the real you. Don't trust people online. They're usually psycho or out to steal your money or underage. Stick to real people.

It's because everyone make up things because they don't want to give out their real information. There are to many predators out there and who wants to give their information to someone they don't know.

I don't know... probably for the same reason people go online and don't know how to spell anything. I mean, for god's sake we have spell-checkers these days... Its not like you have to even look the words up or anything.
