Is there a mat on your patio? If so get rid of it. If you have a problem with fleas in your house get a RESIDUAL spray and spray around the perimeter of every room especially the corners.

Do you live nearby a wooded area? If so, clear out any plants surrounding the patio, specially the ones that are on your hedges. Then get your pet a new bed and take them to the vet to get flea medications.

If they are on your patio.Odds are they are sand fleas.Sprinkle 7 dust around your yard.You can even sprinkle a little into any cracks in your patio.Be careful not to get it onto anything your pets might put into their mouths.And if you have a patio table make sure you clean it thoroughly before using it again.The dust is very fine so it travels further than you may think it can.If you don't know were to get 7 dust already.Try a hardware store.

i am terrible about spelling this, but diatomatious earth is a powder for insects that is completely safe to use around pets and children, you sprinkle it wherever, it gets into the fleas joints and expands and kills them. Try that before you use more chemicals.

Get a whole bunch of the herb called Wormwood. Make a very strong tea, and use to spray - it really does work.

At this point I'd call an exterminator. They have access to chemicals that can't be purchased by the ordinary user.

vacume it out and clean your pet's bed for fleas. good luck.
