People often believe themselves to have the flu, when it is in fact food poisoning. If you have had it 3 times in 2 weeks, I would be willing to bet that it is the latter. Clean out your refrigerator. If you have been frequenting a local restaurant then take some time off.

In the event that it is the flu (or even if its not) drink plenty of fluids and load up on the citrus/vitamin C. Fasting for a day or two can help your body concentrate all of its energy on healing. Eat a lot of fruits and veggies, and lay off the meat products. Its important to eat things that are easy to digest when you are under the weather.

You don't get "the flu" 3 times in two weeks.

You may have gotten 3 different stomach viruses, or a respiratory infection, but THE flu lasts for a week at least, and usually for about 2 weeks, and includes body aches, fever, malaise (weakness), tiredness, when you have the actual flu, you KNOW it.

Even a common cold can knock you out. I got a cold last march that lasted 10 solid days, and then my nose ran for 2 weeks after that. It was like 3 solid weeks of hell.

If you're getting viruses here's some tips:

Keep your hands away from your face - all year long! Practice, its hard but I learned not to touch my eyes, nose or mouth.

Keep you hands washed or use Purell. A lot.

Take a vitamin every day. That means every day. Even weekends.

Sleep a lot. Nothing beats a virus better than sleep.

The telltale symptom of the flu is all over body aches and fever. When you get the flu it lasts a while. You can end up not feeling like yourself for weeks afterwards so you haven't had the flu 3 times in 2 weeks. You MAY have had the flu and you're still recovering OR you had something else. Take some good mulitvitamin. You need B vites to get healthy again and regain your energy.

If it's a cold type flu, I suggest getting liquid echinacea. and take a dropper full 3 times a day for 2 to three days, the next time you feel the slightest bit of symptoms. Like this dry nose of sore throat are symptoms that I jump on. Also, Air born, a over the counter table you can find at most drug stores is good to ward them off. Good Luck! Get more sleep and drink more water.Oh I like making chicken soup with cayenne pepper and curry powder, it seem to clear my head!

I doubt you can contract 3 different flu viruses in only two weeks. Perhaps it was the same flu virus that you just never got rid of. Go to the doctor!
