why do you say they are people? they do not talk, they do not move, they do not even have a brain. yes they are living oganisms, but they do not have the potential to articulate thought. a fetus is a human being regardless of how tiny and undeveloped it is. a tree is not a human being and therefore can be used for something to either house humans or comfort humans. i do not understand why people think that they can murder innocent people and say that it isnt murder. you are killing a human being and that is a major sin. even in the secuar world murder is a major CRIME. abortions are MURDER and there can be no other word for it. these humans that are killed could possibly find the cure for every deadly disease and illness. instead you are killing the only possible chance to save your own life. imagine this. you go into the past to just before you are concieved and change your mother's mind to have you. she concieves you and then two months later has an abortion. then you go into the future again to the exact moment you left. you go to all the right places that you are supposed to go, but no one has ever heard of you. your wife, your friends. they do not know who you are. you find your mother and she does not know you either. you explain that you are her son, but she says she never had a son. she explains that due to the abotion she had made it so that she could have no children. and at that point you finally realise the truth. you do not exist any more.

It is not just the people that have accepted God's Saviour that care about a human being in the first stages of life, others do as well. Maybe even you.
Now for this tree thing you have a problem with. Is there a tree in your life that has let you down and you feel compelled to unload this on us?><>

TREES are not people, God put certian animals on earth to be eaten & other parts of nature is used for other means of survival.
Trees provide wood, paper, furniture .... etc.....................
Im sure you use paper & have furniture in your home.
I am not christian but personally i couldnt care less if some one chops a tree down as long as they use it wiselly.
Fetuses are humans, it is a life, a little person. If no one cares about fetuses - you wouldnt be here.
So get over your feelings for trees.

I think most Christians agree that even the smallest fetus is still a human being and abortion is a form of homicide. As far as trees being people...I fail to see a connection there. Trees are definitely living things but I wouldn't classify them as people. Christian conservatives have a history of not caring about the environment anyway. There is nothing the rest of us can do to convince them otherwise...

I'm not worried about "fetuses".... I worry about souls...life. A sweet innocent human life that someone getting an abortion ultimately is throwing away like its nothing. Its wrong and its cruel. Why cant everyone just cherish life? Seriously... sit back and think about someones soul and their chance at life... It should make sense after you do that... If you truly look deep.

Just a few words of a song from a group called Casting Crowns.
United States of America
Looks like another silent night
As we're sung to sleep by philosophies
That save the trees and kill the children...

We should be good stewards of all of God's creation, fetuses or trees. But only human beings are created in God's image thus another reason to protect human life. We were also given dominion over all of creation, including trees (which aren't human by the way). We can do with trees as we please as long as we remain good stewards of them (not waste them or purposefully destroy them for no reason).

Trees are plants, how come Godless morons like you, keep talking when you know nothing, I think you just like to get a rise out of Christians, & the sound of your own voice & opinions, no matter how stupid and hateful, they are.. try your opinions out on atheists first.. they'll tell you what you want to hear, Christians will only tell you the truth, and I know you don't want to hear that!!!

"If men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she has a miscarriage, yet there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband may demand of him, and he shall pay as the judges decide. 23 But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise." Ex. 21:22-25
Clearly the bible views human life and the life of a fetus on different levels

Because a fetus is an unborn child. You can cut a tree down
but if the roots remain the tree may grow back. You can't regrow a dead baby.
