Ok I have two tattoos already, one on my lower back of an angel and one on my shoulder blade of a wooden cross. Both of these have specific meaning my angel is for my godchild who is mentally disabled whose name is Angel. The cross is for my mom she passed away two years ago. I really want another tattoo and I am unsure of what I want but I know that I want it to mean something to me. I want something to represent all the sh*t I have been through in my lifetime, especially the last few years. Example: In one day I found out that 2 of my friends were killed in Iraq and my grandpa died. Losing my mom, multiple heartbreaks. I was kind of thinking of a worn and tattered heart....but I dunno....Any kind of help would be great....I have looked online and can not find anything that I really like...So PLEASE HELP!!!

That is quite ironic you ask this...the last few weeks ive been doing the same thing and have found the perfect tattoo!! i havnt had any losses..but i have basically had to start over on things...
I am sorry to hear of so many losses...things happen for a reason and we must press on...and for that reason im going to get a phoenix tattoo on my side...in short its a symbol of rebirth..recreation.. new start to things..

Dont look online, you want something original. Do any of your friends or family members draw well? You should have someone close to you help you to design it. It will be more special and unique. You don't want to have the same tat as someone else, do ya?

maybe you should get something to represent your strength...there are animals and flowers that symbolize strength...or maybe you have somehting specific that helped you get through the tough times, etc.
