Instead of spending your money on beer, smokes, weed and lottery tickets, take a freakin cab and get there on time.

You don't want to piss off the judge. That is what you would be doing.

I am pretty sure you could have a warrant if you are a no show.

It is just a very bad idea to be late. If you can get there by taxi it would be best. Why make it worse on yourself? If you wanted to get there you would find a ride.
You really need to be there on time.

You should call the court baliff and report that you'll be late. They could reschedule the court date. If not, I would suggest you take a bus or ask someone else for a ride.

Take a cab, ride the bus or start walking to court. I assume you have a lawyer, even if it is a Public Defender. Contact your lawyer ASAP and see what can be done.

Your already in trouble, don't push your luck. Even if it means getting up two hours early and jogging to court, you better be there. They really don't listen to what they figure is an excuse.

if they call your name and you are not there they will probably issue a warrant for your arrest and then when you do show up you will be arrested and taken to jail till your trial.

They may possibly issue a bench warrant for your arrest, and you could be held without bond.

You'll go to jail for failure to appear in court in a criminal case.
