make theirs to look like they are little hotties, which not every one of them are. So why do they do it?

I look like my avatar. What makes you think everyone is making their avatars look hot. They probably are hot.

Avatars are not made to look exactly like you. They are made so that you can have fun with them and be creative. My avatar looks nothing in this world like me, but that's the fun in it. I did list my myspage page on my profile so that anyone who chooses may look at the real me. I can't speak for anyone else, but that's my reason.

I think my avatar is UGLY. In fact, I think they all are. Even the "hot" ones. They are soo fake and most people forget that the person sitting at the keyboard looks NOTHING like that mini-cartoon character.
