Well this is true. i am Muslim and although i feel America has a right to feel anger because of my evil counterparts. to the contrary, i feel like at the same time they should know that not every Muslim is out for their blood. and so there are a lot of sterotype and ppl think Muslim automaticly they think terrorists. is Islam the first relgion to kill in the name of their religion? no i remember the Christians had their turn once upon a history of time...but yet they seem to forget this. i don't want to kill anyone. maybe spit in the face of the terrorist! i might get shot but oh well.

Only in the sense that Bush decided to see it that way. I feel the Middle East is better off without constant Western interference. The Israeli-Palestinian issue is another matter. America and the Arab leadership need to back off. Israel and Palestine's more moderate leaders, such as Mahmoud Abbas, need to sit down in a host country such as Norway or Switzerland and negotiate on equal terms.
I figure the right of return cannot be negotiated. Palestinians abandoning their land and going elsewhere after illegally backing a war against another country (Israel) and rejecting their own hardly counts as refugee status. It would swamp Israel and also the Palestinian territories. This is not a self-supporting area and it relies on aid. There are not enough jobs and already enough crowding and squalor. So to me, the Palestinian wish for the right of return for refugees is a bad idea that must be dropped.
The settlements will have to stop being developed and gradually, the occupation and roadblocks will have to be minimized. There is a middle ground solution on settlements and it has been suggested that land swaps be used along with moving the border back and forth. Israel can help build new houses for Palestinians and/or offer financial compensation where suitable.
The larger settlements in areas such as Samaria, Hebron, East Jerusalem and other areas close to the border should be left in place. Also, the city of Jerusalem will have to be shared, with West Jerusalem and the Israeli settlements around the area left as a part of Israel and East Jerusalem offered to Palestine, with the possibility of it becoming their capital. However, Palestinians will have to allow the Jews in the area to keep their property and community and agree to live in peace. The issue of Haram al-Sharif will have to be settled, but both Jews and Christians must be allowed access without interference.
The wars started by Bush along with Iranian aggression and the war this summer in Lebanon have taken away from the peace process. I do not condone the results of the election in Palestine and understand the imposing of sanctions. Hopefully, the message will get through. However, it is necessary to find a way to improve the situation so that eventually, sanctions are lifted. It cannot go on and on for years on end. If aid is cut off for 1-3 years, that is one thing. It can't be like this ten years down the road.

Oil, oil,...yup oil. That is bush's big stimuli. But there are residual things happening of a spiritual nature . The Iraqis have been given a chance at religious freedom and Christianity. I think they have flatly turned it down. No big surprise. But technically they had to have been given a chance at it. Now is this really a religious war? Figure. When Iraq surrendered a new democratic government was set up. a constitution was drawn up. It was all ready to be ratified until the they found out the constitution guaranteed religious freedom. After that the Iraqis wanted nothing to do with it. Now does it sound more like a religious war to you?

No, that is the propoganda that the government would have you believe so that you send your kids to fight for their right to profit on oil. The US has been messing around in the middle east for decades in an effort to secure the lion's share of their resources. Now we have an oil man in the white house. That, however is not enough to get us to encourage our own kids to enlist, so they would have you believe it's a religious war - just as they dangle the forever unresolved abortion issue at presidential election time to make that a religious issue. The leaders know how to mobilize that big block of supporters and they have clergy men all across the country who will help them for free if you couch it in religious terms.
By the way, America is not a Christian country and never was, despite what some might have you believe. Many of our founding fathers came here to escape religious persecution themselves and seperation of church and state is carefully guarded by those of us who are not Christian, particularly.
Peace!

No, it was suppose to be about stopping The 911 Terrorist who wanted war against America and other Democrat nations. And to remove a cruel dictator of Iraq, "Hussein", who may(?) be capable of producing Mass Weapons of warfare (actual Pakistan, India already have these A-bombs.). Korea and Iran are closer now to developing them and are a bigger threat to America.
The War was never about religion , but about finding Terrorist, settling grudge, genocide and a ruthless ruler.
Now, it is about Tribal, discontent. There is a long history of discontent, cruelty, people with different opinions, fighting over ways to worship and who to allow as ruler [pure Shites)] Mohammad Blood heirs verses common people not related to Mohammad (Sunnis).
There seem to also be evidence that a personal "unfinished business existed from the invasion of Kuwait conflict- Bush Sr. didn't finish the job against Iraq! So Bush Jr. wanted to finish it. (Daddy told me too?)
The Americans Invaded a Sovereign country (to finish a job his father started?). At any rate wars and fighting among people of Muslim "Sects," Tribes and (Inter-married) anger and relatives discontent as exist there for Centuries. The Iraq people may be worse off now.

America in no way represents Christianity. Therefore America seeks its own interests in whatever war it pursues. I'm proud to live in America, but I realize that although I am free to practice Christianity, America is a secular nation, and I prefer it that way. I wish America would stop being associated with Christianity, and that politicians would stop using that card to get elected, because all it ever does is bring down Jesus. It won't ever make the government less corrupt(there are plenty of non-religious people with morals and non moral "religious" people), all it does is corrupt Christianity.

I'm not sure my friend but I'm sure Jesus Christ will not agree with it. Maybe it's because some people that come from Iraq kill their people I'm really not sure! I think that everyone should stop the fighting but I really don't understand why they are helping the Iraq? When there are people that need help in America, well im not going to say anything because i'm not really sure what's going on. Some people say that its about religion but it might also be about power! I really don't know! But I hope they will all find peace even Iraq!

Why dont you people understand there is no such thing as democracy? it's an illusion.
Plus, what makes the american government so compelled to enforce their way of managing their affairs on other countries?
That's like someone coming to your home and changing your rules because they believe their rules are better, even though you're perfectly happy, and fully entitled to, your own rules.
You call Abu Ghraib 'freedom?'
You call raping girls 'freedom?'
You call all the corruption caused by the U.S army in Iraq...FREEDOM??
that's a kind of freedom i'd love to see you settle for.

people think all muslims are the bad guys. 0.0001% of muslims commit terrorist acts. yet the whole nation thinks otherwise. therefore, the words muslim and terrorist shouldn't even be used in the same sentence. don't believe everything you hear from the government and media. they try to make everyone view them as the new black people of america. anyone reading this should ask themselves one question.. do you even know a muslim person personally? if the answer is no, i suggest you get to know some. they're great people and they deserve to be treated equally and respectfully like any other person.
ignorance is NOT bliss.
