Alcohol contain a kind of poison... our liver is the one that detox the poison but only can detox a certain amount... If we take too much, we will throw up

Alcohol itself if poisionous to the human body in large quantities. It is slowly filtered through the liver at the rate of 1 to 2 standard drinks per hour (that's .75-1.5oz of pure 200proof alcohol, also equivalent to 1-2 shots of 80proof liquor, 1-2 4oz glasses of wine, 1-2 12oz beers, etc). If you consume to the point where you are taking in much more than the liver can filter, and your blood is becoming toxic, your body will attempt to expel everything from your stomach just in case you are still consuming more.

Means you had too much or did not eat first, always eat first, if you don't the alcohol is absorbed into you blood faster=you get sick. I have found if I stay away from clear alcohols & beer I never get sick or have a hangover. Whiskey is my drink of choice. Everyone is different tho, this works for me.

It's called alcoholic poisoning and it can kill you. You are saturating your cells with alcohol.

I do drink but do not give myself the "12 hour flu".
