The ground is fertile, and the blade is sharp.
There is still much to overcome, but tonight I think I will kick back and enjoy the weather.

I've spent way too much time in front of this computer tonight, and I should get some sleep now. Is that a state of mind? It does have something to overcome, my urge to sit in front of this computer perfecting the hunt and peck method to speeds thought only possible using home row.

non-expecting with inclinations to seize opportunities. if i can't overcome something, i know to keep trying my entire life, until the next thing to overcome is at me. tell you what one has 4 grandparents and 8 great grandparents, and 16 great great grandparents, so i get happy for anyone i'm related to even though i don't know anyone.

There are always going to be trials.

A verse that helps my frame of mind Thou will keep you in perfect peace who's mind is staid on thee because He trusts in thee, when your peace is in God you can get through anything and overcome what comes your way.

Peace be with you.

Nope.

You can never overcome your past and present. It is who you are. Even if you decide to change, you are still reacting to your past and present.

A man who has never been within a hundred miles of alcohol, never smelled it, never tasted it, never even HEARD of alcohol... cannot choose to cure himself of alcoholism.

We are computers built by our pasts, building our futures, perfectly deterministically.

Nifty peripherals though...
