How do I tell him I miss him if I´ve never had him?

We used to talk a lot but now he´s been busy and I´ve been down so I guess you could say I´ve been avoiding him. I miss talking to him and teasing him, how do I tell him without embarrassing myself?

Is there really a lie in just telling him you miss the way you two used to be? Nobody will assume anything in that,

Call him and ask how he has been doing, and that you have been pretty busy, but haven't forgotten about him and want to know how things are going.
