When I'm a child i told them all my crushes. But when i grow older I've decided not to tell them about them. If you're parents are strict and don't want you to have crushes don't tell them. You can keep a secret by yourself. I know you are shy, and if you are really shy then don't tell them. It's up to you if you want to tell them. You know I have a cousin who don't tell her parents that she has a crush, and when her mother died (her family is broken and she is just the only child) she just tell her mother her crush. Sometimes every word you say wrong/right it may lead to happiness/sadness. This is just my advice it is still up to you if you want to tell them. Good luck.

I talk to my mom about everything. She is always cool about stuff like that and always gives me advice. Just tell your parents who your talking to or who your going out with the following weekend. Bring a girl over to the house. If you mention that you have interest in a girl it should bring up lots of questions. Then just go from there. Good Luck!

It depends on the type of parents you might have. for me, my mum has been really strict in disciplining me my entire life. Any bf I have, she will not acknowledged or will tel the whole world "he's my daughter's school mate". It been kinda tough to really open up to her till 1 day, Guess it must have been I'm much older, that she starts to be more concerned with my partner. I was lucky, she led me into it. For you, perhaps you can chit chat more on the line with your "beloved", and probably check with your parents on "what are the best strategies to woo her over"..Light note for a start. Hope it helps.

i used to be shy about it, but sometimes i'll tell them if a guy is puttin it on thick... cause they do sometimes.... it neer works out, cause theyre never good enough. but i tell them and my parents smile and say take it slow. they love it! and when i have a boyfriend who i really like, i tell them i'm seeing someone and there's nothing they can do about it... and my last serious boyfriend surprised me with an enagement ring, and it's beautiful. and i love it. i'm unconventional when it comes to love.
