I've been missing a girl for 11 months. I liked her, then fell in love with her, but she never liked me back. We had a friendship that lasted 4 months. She got mad at me for a mistake I made which takes too much explanation and two months later she told me she didn't want to talk to me anymore. I HAD NOT been talking to her since she said she didn't want to talk to me anymore. I thought things would be cool between us so recently for the 1st time I tried to talk to her. When I asked her how she was, she kept her back turned towards me, unlike when I saw her sneak so many glances at me this past year. She texted on her phone. She never even looked at me, never said a word. I told her I only wanted us to be friends again but she wasn't hearing me. She talked to everyone who came in the hall but me. I just said "ok, I get the point, you don't have to say anything else. I guess I'll just see you around." I left the hall and haven't said anything to her since.

Five days later from this, (today) a teacher came to me today and pulled me out of class, took me to her office and told me to please leave the girl alone. I've only tried to talk to her that one time, I've only called once four months ago (then hung up and never tried again), and I only gave her one letter on Valentine's Day. Like I said, we haven't talked for 11 months and that's plenty of opportunity I could have used to harass her, which was/is the last thing I ever want to do to her. I told the girl that too, when I tried to talk to her I said "I don't want to bug you or harass you or anything so I'm going to leave." Then I said the aforemention sentence after trying a little more to get her to listen to me. After the day I tried to talk to her I haven't paid her any attention at all, and continued to pay no attention to her. So I'm in the office and the teacher says leave her alone and that her MOM called the school about me. It was like they were accusing me of harassing or stalking her which I had NOT been doing. The teacher said "It's not that she doesn't like you, it's that she doesn't like you in that way." If it's not that she doesn't like me, then why was I called out of class behind her and I didn't even much do anything to b called out of class for. So I'm not telling her happy birthday tomorrow, I really don't want to see her again, I never want to talk to her again and when I graduate I never will so good riddance to her and I'm making sure when I find someone else I'm doing a lot better from this experience.

I know you probably already saw this but I think I summarized it better.

For some reason I still care about her even though I tell myself I don't. Basically I'm saying I've been leaving her alone, I tried to talk to her ONCE and never said anything else to her, then five days later she goes to a teacher about me who pulls me out of class and talks to me about her. The way the teacher talked to me she (the girl) made it seem like I was constantly bothering her.
I was already not going to try to be friends with her anymore but the teacher pulling me out of class and talking to me like I'm a stalker-freak really cements my position about her. I'm never talking or thinking about her again. That's what she wants anyway, which I already was doing.

About the letter thing, so there's no confusion, I'm saying I've only sent her one letter out of all this time we haven't talked.

She told the teacher TODAY. Not the day after, which at least would have made a lot more sense.

you still care about her because your obsessed with her, as soon as you find another girl that will give attention back to you, you will get over her.

Do Not Tell her Happy birthday! Ignore her totally. She does not exist any longer. If you do this she will some day say hi to you and ask you what is wrong. Why haven't you talked to me she will say. Trust me do not look at her or speak. People always want what they can't have. So give this a try you have nothing to loose and any way if you do talk to her the cops will be calling you to the office next.

WOW that's a *****! She's terrible!
Sounds like she has some issues she needs to deal with.
As for you, I think you just answered your question... you wanna get rid of her, goodbye, good riddance, so just let time pass and get over her. Avoir all contact.
It's normal to still care for her, because you still see her once in a while. Don't worry, time heals all things. It will pass eventually.

We sort of have the same problem right now and that's a tough one... Well that's love even though how much we try to avoid or forget about it we can't hide the fact that we're still in love of the person we hate or with the person whom we're trying to forget...
