Try moving your alarm clock away from your bed. Make it where you MUST get up to shut it off. My husband was oversleeping a lot and we did this. He hasn't had a problem since!

Well, since it sounds like the problem is getting out of bed as opposed to waking up, you should find something to really look forward to upon getting up. For most people it's coffee, but for you it may actually be the fact that you get to lay there for a bit and just think. It's probably really healthy, so maybe you should just try waking up a little earlier so that you actually make time for it in your schedule.

Just think about this,....
a big black lady holding a thick belt over you while you sleep, and once the alarm clock goes off, she yells,
"Lili, Lili, get yo butt up!" and after that she starts swinging the belt, and you sleep naked, yes, you do, and she hits that soft part on the back of your leg.
And if you need the extra strength kind,
imagine her with extension cord or a hanger, a hot iron or anything that scares you when a big black lady swings it down.
Side effects include, walking drowsiness, no back talking, grits, night tremors, no sleep, embrassement (if you are a boy, in the morning, with your mom standing 2 inches away from you,)
Deaf in the ear that you don't sleep on, and you may wanna call in to work. And depression.

i had this problem too. the SAME exact problem. what i did was that every night before i went to sleep i organized everything in my life. (im in school) so i would finish hw, clean room, then go to bed at a time that would give me a minimum of 10 hours of sleep. This has worked for me because in the mornings after 10 hours of sleep, i am energized and ready to take on the day.
sounds corny, but eh, works for me
try it

I like to put my automatic coffee maker next to my bed stand. That way early in the morning it brews coffee right by my head and I can smell it. I then reach over pour a cup take a sip and eventually wake up. I would also try puting you alarm clock across your room that way hwne it goes off you actually have to get out of bed to turn it off.

This is totally mental. Just tell yourself before you go to bed, that the next morning, i'll only let the alarm ring once, and just get up and stop being lazy. Either that, or set it late enough so that you have to get up on the first ring or else you'll be late for work or wherever you are going.

Your body may be telling you that you're not getting enough sleep, and you need to get to bed a little earlier. Good luck!
