Acne can really destroy your confidence and it sometimes seems like no matter what you try you can’t get rid of it. But don’t despair there are things that can be done to improve the situation. Visiting a CACI clinic to discuss a course of Acnelux (blue-light therapy) would be a great start. Acnelux targets the bacteria that causes acne and stimulates the immune system to help with the healing process. And just to put you at ease it’s not a laser; it’s not painful; it generates no heat and has no reported side effects. You’ll need to be treated twice a week for a month, at a cost of $45 per visit. The results after the four weeks can be really amazing. If you can’t afford to do that right now, you might like to try The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil, dabbed directly onto the blemish. Tea tree has purifying, antibacterial properties. A cleanser that might be appropriate for you is Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream. Cutting out the following may also be of benefit to you: carbohydrates like white bread, white pasta and refined sugar. They cause a rapid rise in blood sugar, which increases insulin – this has been shown to increase inflammation in the body and potentially cause acne

If you actually have acne ..which at it's very minor stages looks like this... http://www.apresia.com/Acne-S7.JPG
then you should definately NOT try treat it yourself as it can make things a million times worse!!!
You don't need to wash your face a thousand times a day either because it's not because you hav dirty skin!!
The best thing to do is go to see a beauty therapist...you need a course of steaming sessions with o-zone and facials....nothing can get rid of acne but it will make it less painful and inflamed and visible!!
If you dont hav that and jus hav a few spots....then cleanse, tone and moisturise day and night and it should clear up!! you might have a small outbreak when you start using new products though!!

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Cleanse your skin and moisturize it. Basic steps.
Acne is caused by (the more simple explanation) by bacteria and blocked pores from excess oil. Wash your face twice a day with a gentle effective cleanser to rid of impurities (oil, dirt, bacteria). Follow with a moisturizer. Use products for your skin types (ie: combination, dry, oily) and that are allergy tested, dermatologist recommended and non-comodogenic. When washing your face and applying moisturizer, do so gently (do not scrub or apply hard).
In addition to this simple step, you can use specific specialized acne products. I recommend an acne sulfur mask 1-2x a week which absorbs oil, unclogs pores and clears blemishes. Amazing stuff.
You can use cheap drug store items or high end products. No product is better than another if you are looking to simply cleanse skin. Remember to drink lots of water, not to touch your face, try to avoid stress, and eat a healthy diet.

Just keep your face clean. Do not put too much chemicals on your face like astringents but moisturizer will do. Do not touch your acne or it will irritate.

If you live in cold country where sometimes you dont sweat for a few years, any red dot will stay for months sometimes. I like caladryl lotion. Bar soap the area often. Over the counter medicine probably works if one follows the instructions perfect.

wash your face as many times as you can a day, and try putting adapalene gel on it, my face used to be red from all of the constant acne but after doing this religiously everyday, i have only 4 pimples on my face. ADVICE DONT POP PIMPLES. pimples leave scars stay.

don't touch it. forget about it then it'll just go away because usually dark spots occur when you treat it. a good acne gel/cream would be okay to use if you want the pimple to disappear at once. just don't prick it
