can anyone translate these idiomatic phrases for me: dare del tu, and dare del Lei. Thanks

to be on first name terms (with somebody) = dare del tu
to be on formal terms (with somebody) = dare del lei

Dare del tu: to use the informal form of "you" (tu)
Dare del lei: to use the formal form of "you" (lei)
