can I cover them with foundation but it always seems to come off in a matter of time. Do you have any tips to make my skin look nice so it doesn’t look like I’m packed with makeup but you can’t see those horrible marks on my face.

When you don’t feel good about your skin I know how much it can knock your confidence. But don’t worry there are some things you can do to improve the situation. It sounds like these marks could actually be caused by pigmentation, rather than scarring. But without seeing you I can’t assume they are so I’ll give you some advise for scars. Firstly work on minimising their appearance by applying a product such as Bio Oil or Rosehip Oil. Rub one of these into the affected area at night and let it work its magic while you sleep. Scar reduction takes commitment though; you won’t see improvement straight away, but keep at it. A foundation primer (worn under your foundation) is designed to help your foundation to last longer and sit better. Even better is the Smashbox Photo Finish Colour Correcting Foundation Primer, $69 (and worth every penny). I’d advise getting the apricot shade, as apricot will help counteract discolouration in skin tone. So even before you put on foundation you are already a step closer to disguising the marks. I would then go for a foundation that has good coverage and is designed to last. I think i.d bareMinerals foundation SPF15, $69, would be a great option for you Reena. It will give you good coverage with sun protection and yet it will never clog your pores. It’s a revolutionary loose mineral foundation made from 100 per cent pure Micronized minerals from the earth with no additives. It gives the look of radiant bare skin. It is said to be perfect for people who are concerned about sensitivity, allergies, scars, wrinkles or pigmentation. It’s very easy to apply and lasts all day. I hope this helps you to feel better about your skin.
