If you think of them as two unrelated items most people will like fish. Most people will like chips.
It is the term fish n chips that takes you to a different plane of existence. It is to me a take away meal wrapped in paper and normally eaten from the package with the fingers.
In the old days the outer wrapping was a page of newspaper to read as you ate.
Only as you were finishing would you fully open the package to get all the small ones at the bottom

I imagine there are many people that love fish and chips, including myself. What question are your eally asking? Because in my opinion, the US has very few restaurants that make good fish and chips. Frozen, heavily battered fish is not good eats. Bagged, frozen french fries are also not good eats. So if anyone knows of a place in the Mid-West to get authentic fish and chips that would be awesome.

There's a Brit pub and hotel here in Thailand called the Pig & Whistle. IT has the best fish n chips this side of England.

I love them. I ever ate one type of fish n chips which is.. The fish fillet is wrape ard mushed potatos and bake. Chips is wrapped by tender chicken! Very uniqe!

I like fish and chips and order it often in restaurants. I usually regret it cause the fish usually sucks.

I don't like anything under the sea. Including seaweed! I was forced to eat fish sticks at my preschool, and since then I have never tried any seafood. The smell of it, to me, is disgusting. Perhaps I'll try it one day.
