She is using drugs and I am over her. I do have 2 kids under 12
I want the feel of a woman, I want to go out and have fun with a woman, I want to cuddle with a woman, but what woman will want to have a 34 year old guy with 2 kids that will come before anything? yes, even her. I have the kids. they live with me.
I am over the wife thing.

There is all kinds of woman out there who would love to be with a guy and 2 kids. Don't cut your self short. If your ready go for it as long as your lawyer thinks it's OK and won't cause a problem with the divorce. Some people do say you should give your self a year to get to know you again. Baggage and all. I would say I wouldn't bring any one around the kids unless you are positive this is some one you want to spend the rest of your life with. That would be the last thing they would need. Remember the kids are going through a lot too. Regardless of what happened they still miss and love their mom. Make sure you give them your undivided attention and lots of hugs and kisses.

i dont see whats wrong with dating now. not making any committments! but you definetly need some (YOU) time. it sounds as if you havent had feeling for you wife for quite sometime to be needing the feel of a woman. go do you. just dont bring anyone home because you do have to keep the kids and their feelings in mind. plus you should accept anyone your children dont accept(in good judgement). but dont be so quick to think your life is over. depending on your personality and how well you take care of your children. your gonna be a babe magnet for sure. i know im a sucker for a good man handeling his duties!

OK your grown so whats wrong with having kids? if they can't accept your kids then forget them. but to answer your question i think you should just have friends right now being as you just got out a relationship. so with friends you could do all these things but don't have to get too serious

The answer to your question is to wait until your kids are 18. You made them, now you have to put their best interest first, as you stated. The best way to do this is to not complicate their lives with your selfish relationships. Their lives have been complicated enough already by the destruction of their family.

You probably won't immediately find someone but you could definately start dating. It will be difficult but hey, there's no harm in looking for now. It's not absolutely impossible and good things can happen.

If you think your ready got for it. I think plenty of women would date you with 2 kids. Especially a women who is seperated/divorced with kids of her own.
