my friend G (not using real name) and i have known each other for a year and a half now and i really like him. he is a year older then me (8th grade). he is somewhat popular as in he is the school treasurer and does video announcements so everyone knows him. well he went out with my friend and (for a week) and ever since that we have become cooler with each other...accually have became friends. on myspace my brother said that i said i loved him and he said i love you back. he is kind of a ladies man and hugs..talks to...and flirts with all the girls but none like like him. we flirt alot and he knows i like him. he is the only person i have ever really liked but im way out of his league. what my question is is am i wasting my time? does he even like me...or will he ever?

Highschool Relationships Lesson 1:
Statistics show that most relationships in highschool are not serious real more of just experimental. You go out with him for if your lucky half a year you'll both break up and thats that.
Its happen what 90 percent of the time maybe 8 percent last a year and 2 percent last longer then that.
Sorry to burst your bubble but I had to seperates the facts from fantasy and thats what happens.

Number one, if you want to pursue anything make sure your gf who went out with him is cool with it.
If he is a flirt, you know what he wants from you. Especially if he is a 14 year old boy :-) The best things to do it be honest... put it on the table and let him know you like like him. If he gives you some crap about "valuing your friendship" then continue to be friends. Be careful though, he'll know you're vulnerable and might try to pull some crap. Don't worry about the status thing... in the end it doesn't matter. Good luck sweetie... it's never easy. Just don't get drunk, profess your drunken love and try to hook up with him. It does not work. And that's not just speculation ;-)

If you don't think you have a chance... Then you probably don't. Hun you gotta start thinking better about yourself to get any guy. How do you know he doesn't like you if you don't find out for yourself. Don't ever let anyone tell you that your not good enough for something you want. You can do anything or get anything you want in life as long as you have the right attitude. Good luck!

well he went out with your friend so i don't think that would be a good idea of yall getting together, but on the other hand, you could not change your feelings for someone no matter what, so do what you think is best

keep in mind that he can love you as a friend and that he could say i love you to get in your pants, not to be all down on the situation. go with what feels right, but dont let your knickers down in a second.

no because if he knows you like him and he hasent gotten rid of you yet he must like you to and remember if you dont ask him out you may never no i had a situation like this once with my big sis best friend i never asked him out and it wasnt till a year later after he had moved away that i found out he liked me
