My dog's belly is turning from pink to dark brown, is that normal?

He is a mix between a shih tzu and a pug I believe.(also his nose turned from dark brown to pink...)

Is this happening gradually over time or has there been a rapid change in color?

If it's a rapid change in color, like within only a few minutes or a few hours, please call your vet right away. This can be an indication of illness.
