About 2 years ago, i went for an annual eye exam when they found high intercranial pressure on my optic nerves. They ordered an MRI and a spinal tap, to check for a brain tumor or psuto tumor. The MRI came up clear, and the pressure reading from my spinal tap was an Average/High...what ever that means. Keep in mind in am only 15 and a half yrs old. I am constantly tired, i constantly have headaches and i even get migrains so bad to the point where i need to be in a pitch black room with no noise at all. My joints are always aching, espically my knees and elbows. It hurts really bad to bend over, and my back and neck is always sore. Ive seen physical therapist, chiropractors, nueroligist, etc. They all say its all in my head but i know its not, and i know my own body. I feel like im one of those people that knows they have a disease but every one just thinks there crazy, and eventually i will find out i have one. I also do run a fever quiet often..what do you guys think?

I am 55 and fount out i have lupus.I remember when I was young about 8 every time I would get excited my legs hurt so bad. It was Christmas eve and like i said i was 8 years old when it started.I would lay there rocking and rubbing my legs.As time went on it slowed down some what.In my 30's is when I told my mother about my arms and legs aching and me being tired all the time .She said you have Lupus I said what is that .That was the day my life stop it runs in my family and i didn't even no.Do you have red spots on your face or it could look like a sun burn just on your face.Look at your fingers are they shinny right where your nails are if so that is one of the signs of lupus. There are two kinds of lupus one effects your organs and the other your joints.Sounds like you have it in your joints which is much better then having it in your organs. That kills you ,it eats your orgins away. That is all i no i hope i have help a little. I am sorry you are having problems as young as you are I wish you all the luck in the world.

I was diagnosed in 04 and it is a really pain full experience. They found out due to blood tests , I see a rheumatologist for my joints . There is no cure but they can prescribe meds for certain attributes from this disease. Although most all of us go through the same pains, depression, etc. Sometimes some are worse than others. Simple blood tests can lead your doctor in the right area. This is a chameleon disease and most doctors think its all in your head . I would suggest finding a doctor you trust or even a rheumatologist . Below I have listed a great web site. Good Luck in finding what is wrong.
