FIRST: Go to the doctor, my guess is that you don't want someone to know you have the disease if in fact you have it. This can be for a number of reasons either you are a minor or you know they will contact your partners so they can be treated too. SECOND: YES it will be COMPLETELY cured by antibiotics. No matter how many MILLIONS of bacteria you carry, a SINGLE SHOT of ceftiraxone to treat the gonorrhea that you 99 of 100 times will carry with chlamydia as well as 7 days of doxycycline OR a single oral dose of azithromycin (zithromax) would be sufficient. DON'T BE STUPID see a doctor get it fixed; a shot and a pill is all it takes. And by the way are you sure you even have chlamydia? A cultured sample of the mucopurulent discharge from your urethra should tell you the correct answer not your friend that had it once too.

I don't know if one dose of anything, no matter how high, can cure it. I find it unlikely. Any bacterial infection involves millions of individual bacteria. One dose, no matter how high, is unlikely to stay in your system long enough to get all of them. It will also affect healthy bacteria making the environment more pleasant for the chlamydia.

You're looking at taking pills for 7 to 10 days. It's really not a tough thing to do and will get all of those little buggers out. It's a nice quick fix in itself.

If you haven't quite figured out the value of condoms from this please consider that your next STD could be a lot more inconvenient than a week on an antibiotic. At least chlamydia has a cure.

It really depends on how long you have had it. Usually it takes a single 2gram dose of Z, u can get four 500mg tablets. If you are really not going to see a doctor i would suggest another 250-500mg dose for three days after the initial 2g dose just to be sure.

The longer you've had it the harder it is to cure.
