A guy wants you to call him Papi and you call him Carino~. Can anyone confirm what these terms actually mean and how are they used?

Papi is like calling him daddy. I've heard some women call their men this, but it has always seemed weird to me, because of the dad reference. That's what i call my father. It's a cuter way of saying 'papa' (father in spanish). But the women who use it seem to apply it as a form of saying 'darling' or something of the sort. But again, literally, it's 'daddy'.
Carin~o, means 'dear', or can be used kind of like in english you use 'sweetie', or 'sweetheart'. (by the way, carino doesn't mean handsome, as someone here suggested)

Nena skill "lady toddler" or "little toddler", besides the shown fact that that's utilized as term of endearment or love, which skill "babe". In Spain (and perhaps in another Spanish-speaking international locations) adult men use it with their girlfriends each and all of the time.
