It just depends some kittens eyes don't open for at least ten days. But when they do first start to open their eyes it usually a little at a time, I 've been through many kittens I know! Lol but everyone is beautiul all the same. Then when their eyes open and they start to see and move around that's the best part. Have I answerd your question? I hope I have if there is anything else you can e-mail me. Sue

A kitten should open its eyes during the second week. If the kitten is greater than 14 days old and has not yet opened its eyes, there may be a problem. If this is the case, you should consult your veteranarian.
Hope this helps.

I had one open his eyes at 4 days, but that was unusual. Most are 7 to 10 days, but I've had some that were 14 days, too. Size doesn't seem to matter either.

They should open their eyes sometime during their 2nd week. I hand-raised my own kitten who is no longer a kitten (he's 4 yrs old now) and he opened his eyes in about 12 days.

It takes about two weeks, and even then, they may open and close off and on for a few days.
