Nope. Go see a dentist. Depending on how much of the tooth is left you might get a crown or if you're lucky just a veneer. Bummer, but not really that bad. You'll get through it easily.

Your permanent teeth grew in when you were 7 or 8. They will not grow back once you've lost that tooth structure. The more important question is, are you in a lot of pain, is the nerve exposed? I.E. Can you see any bleeding from the middle of the tooth itself? If there is no bleeding, you can get a tooth colored filling placed on it and get it to look like what it was prior to the accident. If there is bleeding and you can see something that looks like a like a "booger" in the middle, that's the nerve of the tooth. You will at least need a root canal, and a crown possibly.

Lastly, has the root of the tooth been dislodged? Does it look like it moved? Consult a dentist regardless and get an x-ray. Sometimes teeth that have been dislodged will discolor(die) they turn brown, they can also ankylose(fuse) to the surrounding bone making them very difficult to extract, and finally they can cause you a very mean abcess(infection) that left untreated could really hurt and possible kill you(rare).

In other words, go see a dentist now.

regardless of your age, your permanent (big girl) teeth will not grow back. When i was nine years old, my front tooth broke from a fall so i know a little bit about what to do. Save the pieces that broke off! Your dentist might be able to "glue" them back on if it's not broken too badly and if you get it taken care of right away. Otherwise, Your dentist will probably put some sort of tooth looking stuff (no clue what it's called) on the remaining part of the tooth and model it to look and feel and act like a real tooth. I had this procedure done and it worked out really well. They told me that i would have to get a root canal about three years later but i only had to get a root canal eight years later. A broken tooth can get very painful so take some Advil and get over to your dentist!

No it won t grow back because its a permanent tooth. It all depends how much broke off. Go to your dentist for an xray so he/she can see if the nerve has been affected. If it has, depending on the break, you may need root canal treatment. If not, it may be able to be fixed with just a filling. Fillings on front teeth that have been broken sometimes continue to break due to the stress of biting. Your Dentist may suggest a crown to be placed in the future to keep it from breaking. Hope this helps.

I don't want to scare you but my little sister fell off her bike and broke her front teeth when she was 9, and had a lot of trouble with them after that. She finally ended up losing her 4 top front teeth when she was 12.

Now! it can be really nasty if you lose your permanent teeth, which won't grow back. Worse, you will look ridiculous. Depending on where u reside, fees for dentist services can really take away your lunch money. So, what I suggest you to do is go to your local food store and buy a pack of orbit, and simply stick it where it's needed

Finding it helpful? For more information on size, color, and price, visit following site: http://www.wrigley.com/wrigley/products/products_orbit.asp
