My daughter's best friend fiancee asked by doing the coolest scrapbook of where they met, where their 1st date was, where she lived at the time (a photo of someone else living there) a few fun times, pictures of their families, & the last page was where we got engaged with a note of "Will you marry me?". He was kneeling beside her when she got to this page with the ring.
Wow! What a winner - she cried & she is hard to please.

Oh, he took her to their favorite restaruant & gave her the scrapbook. No one expects a guy to take this kind of thought & time. A really cute memory.

You don't need to have an innovative or crazy way to propose. A proposal should be special to the both of you, and intimate. The act of proposal, shouldn't overshadow the real question you are asking and the meaning and feelings behind it.

My husband took me on a sunset gondola ride in Newport Beach Harbor where we had a candlelit dinner and cruised along as the gondolier sang love songs acapella. He then handed me a message in a bottle and while I read it, the gondolier sang our song and he got on one knee and proposed. We got great pictures, keepsakes, and wonderful memories... :)

my husband had a custom made label for a bottle of wine that said "will you marry me?". i loved it!!!
my sister's fiance took her to disneyland and ask her to marry him during the fireworks show......very sweet too!!
