I am a mom and I am in my 30's, I don't do the game playing thing... I am just to busy. I am sensitve though and tried expliaining really nicely to this guy that he was being pushy about sex. He honestly was so confused and had no idea what i was saying. Several times I say something and he hears something TOTALLY different. So today again, I thought he was coming over and he thought I said not too. I just said "OMG, you are driving me nuts! I say one thing and you hear something totally different'. I am not usually a blunt person... but he wasn't hearing me and I had to say something. Should I feel bad?

You were honest.. and, the "should" I feel bad .... part already seems to indicate you "are" feeling some apprehension over what said.. But, you did i guess finally get through to him.. and, that is what you tried to do before..and it didn't work.. so the blunt approach seems to be his level of how he finally does understand things.. Just don't for his and your sake consider getting back together again.. or you really will mix the poor guy up, maybe this is what others have done, and why he goes into the confused mode.. Bravo, too to you for knowing your boundaries and sticking to them!

He was probably confused because most women think guys are talking about sex when they arent.

Maybe the guy just wanted to hang out with you and get to know you, so he keeps trying to take you out? But instead of you thinking of it as a get to know each other date, you think hes trying to screw you.

So you let him know he's being pushy, and then he thinks to himself "this ***** is crazy, I didnt say anything about sex."

And frankly maybe you talk too much so he doesnt always hear what you have to say, there comes a time in a mans life when he learns to tune out a womans voice and decides to only hear what he wants to hear.

You shouldnt feel bad, but you should just tell him "No, I said I wanted you to come over, not that I didnt want you to come here."

listen HE is pushy right? so why cant you be vocal about how haphazard he is? quit fretting... it's ok to loose your cool as long as you have a good reason and it sounds like this guy can get realy frustrating! if he likes you as much as u like him,. he will want to know about why he make u nuts and want to correct himself...please dont be angry but from the sound of it,, i really dont think he is the sort of guy who would...

There is nothing wrong with being you. I think you did the right thing. If he's not mature enough to handle that then maybe your better off.
