Why o why girls girls?

Question

Im in high school and an attractive gy but all the girls are itny pencils,popsicle sticks, twigs, i want a women with some met on her not a lot but a good sized one. Why are all girls in high school toothpicks?

Because they watch too many models, actresses and singers. They think that boys/men prefer thin girls/women. Some are naturally thin since they are young. Good for you if you prefer one with more "meat" so to speak. It's probably good for girls to hear that since that might relieve some stress about being thin.

First off, I agree with someone else on here--looks shouldn't be what matters. But to answer what you're wondering, there's a lot of things that factor into it.

Girls that are involved in sports stay skinnier because of the exercise and the strain their metabolism goes through, plus the added stress of school and life in general.
Even girls who aren't physically active stay pretty skinny because of the peer pressure they're presented with. In highschool there's much more pressure to look and act a certain way in order to be considered part of the "cool" crowd. Many girls find it necessary to watch what they eat or count calories, etc. in order to fit the accepted "image" of what they think guys want in a girl. Because believe it or not, what girls want the most is, in fact, to BE wanted. Because of this, a lot of girls will do whatever it takes to be what everyone else wants--and because of media images, peer pressure, examples, etc., they think men find skinnier women attractive.

If you don't want to date a girl that's a toothpick, make it obvious that you like healthy-looking girls. Maybe someone worth it will pick up on the hint--and maybe the others will buy some food for once! :-]

ive always been a nice size in high school i was a 9 and i loved when a guy could appreciate my curves. now im a 12 and i love this figure too. keep this mentality and you will get soooo many chicks when you can date those that are over 18. im 20 and when i was in high school those girls ticked me off why starve yourself to be a size 2 men want CURVES there is nothing wrong with it if you are naturally athletic or thin but dude the chicks that throw up or starve themselves are stupid

A couple years too late buddy. But the answer to your question is that women see other women (models, actresses, etc...) and guess what, they're all skinny, or losing weight very fast.... Girls look at that and think that every guy wants her to look like that, when in fact most guys find it somewhat disgusting. But then there are the complete and total jerks who go for them and make other women like me to start thinking otherwise about weight issues.

Your at the stage where some females are still developing. Some females dont really get some of their curves until they have gotten further along in high school. Believe me when I say once you hit college your going to see curves everywhere. LOL. Also some females in high school or more particular about their weight and to many curves. You will see more as time progress.

Probably because in today's society, many girls look up to models or stars that are skinny. Because of this, many girls feel insecure and decide to cut the calories, thus being skinny. It could also because some girls have really high metabolism, making it harder to gain any weight.

Truth is...because you r one-of-a-kind sweetheart!! MOST guys like skinny twigs that resemble paris hiton, nicole richie, jenna jameson, carmen electra, pam anderson, britney spears, and the girls from Laguna Beach!!!

This truly is a sad, unfortunate , situation with young girls these days!

They're influenced by the media to become skinny little things. It is ridiculous! My girlfriend is very skinny and always thinks she is fat. With hormones and the media showing girls what they "need" to look like girls will soon become nothing!

hahah boy, let me tell you i wish i was packing on the pounds. i eat so much but i cant gain weight. ive gotta wicked fast metabolism. i hate it when other girls are like 'omgoshh your like so skinny' cause seriously, i never get full. i was telling my mom how hunger is my weakness, i get so cranky when im hungry, but im hungry all the time, so i guess im kinda crannky all the time.. so whats better a cranky girl or a skinny girl?
