going to grow and grow and then exlpode. OK we all heard that story as a kid - maybe not quite so graphic. But now my nephew won't believe us when we tell him daddy was just playing. He thinks he is really going to blow up and nothing we say helps to change his mind. Any advice on how to calm him down? Thanks

Time. If he's really upset about this the only thing that will really calm him down is discovering that as time passes his stomach doesn't even grow.

You could try pointing out other seeds that we eat all the time that don't grow in our stomachs. Things like corn, nuts, sunflower seeds, strawberry seeds...

And for God's sake don't clean a weed killer box and put koolaid in it. Good idea. Bad implementation because you can NEVER get the poison out of the cardboard. If you do that make your own bag or envelope or a sticker for the koolaid. Don't take the chance on making the kid really sick or he'll never believe it's not the seed growing.

ok how old is the kid? if hes old enough to read get a small box that has had weed killer stuff in it, then after cleaning it really good get a bagg of un-sweetened koolaid(close to a beliveable color of weed killer) fill a bag with it, not all full, but like there was just enough weed killer to kill the watermelon plant growing in his belly, get a glass of water and show him that u had some left over weed killer, and tell him to add 2 teaspoons to the glass of water stir and tell him down the hatch....
