I spent 4 years in the Navy. I think, since I was on a ship and saw everything, Air Traffic Controllers have THE best job! Air condition all day, its GREAT! I LOVED it! If I remember correctly, I got a 64 on the ASVAB.

I would say that the best job to get in the Navy is the job that you will get a skill that you can directly use when you leave the service. It would be even better if that skill could be used in a field that you really like because then you'll be a happier person.

I would just be very careful about ensuring that the contract that you sign has everything that the recruiter promised you written into the contract. Do not assume that the Navy will keep the promises that the recruiter made. He is being judged by the number of people that he gets to sign so he will lie like a politician to get you to sign.

the best job is one that you will ENJOY doing for 4 or 6 years of your life.
