I think it's possible. My mother suffers from depression and anxiety and panic attacks, and I have also to an extent all my life.

It certainly can be--anxiety is part of temperament which can be inherent or learned. One of the things they look for when seeking mental health treatment is a family history. However, it doesn't have to be inherited, especially in cases like that of anxiety following a traumatic event, with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

im no doctor but me,my mother,and sisters all have a anxiety disorder so i say yes

Probably. I have panic disorder and found out one of my moms aunt has it.
