My husband noticed a small, black dot on his leg last week. Now, it has become a bump, that looks like a mosquito bite, witih the black center in the middle of it. It itches like crazy, and is kind of scaly feeling? What is this???

My mom found something similiar on her arm awhile back. She asked the doc, and they informed her that it was a poisonous spider bite, and that the black part was the skin being eaten away.
Your husband should go to the doctor's, so if this is the case, then he can be put on an antibotic. He'll start feeling better in no time after that. Hope this helps.

Could be a bite from another bug or a infected black head but it is not a mosquito bite.

if it looks like a bullseye and it sounds as though it does it could be a brown recluse bite..go to the dr immediately. the black center on those are dead tissue..lots of people wait too long and have serious scars from them and other health issues

If it keeps getting bigger, there's a good chance it's a boil, if it isn't it's probably a spider bite or a blackhead.

could be a spider bite .. ask a dermatologist
