It's entirely your option. If someone had never flown before and wanted to see the view, I would trade as a nice gesture.
On long flights, no one particulary wants to be stuck in the middle seat - so I would probably decline, unless I thought they had a decent reason for wanting the window seat.

Yes, since I hate the window seats. I must have an aisle seat so I can lean out a bit and stand up a lot.
I'm 6'3" so coach seating is a killer.

If I didn't care, then what difference does it make? I wouldn't trade if it was a middle seat. It seems that the other guys think they get two arm rests and squeeze me out. If it was an aisle seat then a wouldn't care too much.

For me it depends on the aircraft and the person.
If it puts me on the isle that's not too big of a deal, but if it puts me in the middle of the row on a larger aircraft probably not, even if she was cute.

I would say sorry mate i like the window and cant give it to you but wouldn't mind asking her to sit on my lap and we both could enjoy.
