If you are getting straight A's maybe you could help others not as fortunate to be as gifted as you. Then you will appreciate the gift God has given you when you see how others have to struggle to learn. It sounds like your life is too easy because you are bright and bored. EH?

You definitely need some "passion" in your life. Do you have an interest in something that really gets your attention? If not, you need to find that spark that makes you look forward to getting up in the morning. Sign up for an activity that you never would have considered taking in the first place: Ballroom dancing? Yoga? Archery? Wear your clothes inside out one day just to get a reaction.

Next, you need some good brain stimulation... Check out "A Whole New Mind" by Dan Pink. There are a lot of great suggestions to give your brain a jumpstart on the road to creativity and looking at things from another perspective.

You can't change others... Do something to be good to yourself. As someone who has lived with chronic depression for most of my life, I've discovered that you have to make change happen. It's okay to ask for help; everybody needs that too. I'm 40 years old and people still disappoint me. It's your choice to either dwell on that certainty or to move on and focus on the positive. But the first step to that is getting to know yourself better and to appreciate who you are. If you've been feeling this way for longer than a couple of weeks, seriously consider asking for professional help. That's what they are there for. Life can be enjoyable again... create the opportunities to let it happen.

Take care,
Mon :-)

Have u ever noticed that most of us live several lifes during one course of existence? Following this principle, there are also several deaths, but many people are not even aware of this. Well, this is what continually happens to me. Believe it or not. And I've finally started enjoying it. Strange as it may seem, it makes ur life fascinating, as it gives u the opportunity to develop different parts of urself, of ur personality, to see what suits u best. Depression is only a symptom that shows u that something needs to be done. And I don't necessarily refer to medication. It may mean the fact that u need to improve ur life. It's nothing but an inner signal.Take it as it is. Best wishes!

Yes the bible speaks of the quick and the dead. Fear not you will have to learn all about life and the things kept hidden from you. It will not be easy and you will be depressed for each thing or belief you learned wrong. It will take time. Just let life take its course and keep the straight 'A's up till you are unable to continue. There will never be another chance to study after the change of life.

When people ask if you're okay, reply, "Fine, how about you?" or "Why do you ask?"

If you find most people to be disappointing, welcome to the club. Perhaps you, like i often do, have high expectations not being met.

that emptiness is horrible. talk to you doctor. its sounds like youre depressed. this could be from stress, an event or chemical imbalance etc. it doesnt happen through any fault of your own but failure to treat depression can result in more intense "eh" feelings. so please talk to someone.

Try to find something that motivates you. Something that you really enjoy doing.
