Yes. To me, being a christian, athiests try to convince you there is no God instead of trying to convince you that evolution exists. They worry more about trying to convince all that God doesn't exist and it's impossible, when they should be defending another way of existence. They aren't very good at it. Go find the movie "The Great Debate" Its a debate of a christian and an atheist. It's pretty good

You show your ignorance in the second part of your two questions.
Do you not KNOW what an atheist is? Really?
Not knowing that simple fact places the first part of your question in the really dumb category.
Get this straight. God is an imaginary entity and does not exist save in the minds of the weak-willed, the simple-minded.
I don't argue about being an atheist. I am one. There is no argument about it. NO, loony-toon, I am not arguing aginst something that exists. Which part of all this do you not understand? All of it?
Education is a wonderful thing. Do try some? As it is, you are showing signs of severe mental deficiency ... or is it immaturity?
PS: Try getting the spelling correct. Good use of the language demonstrates validity in a debate. Poor spelling, badly-constructed sentences, over-use of slang words, all place you at a certain level. Here, a level where any intelligent being should simply ignore you BUT we do like to try to put people straight. Take the hint. Self-improvement classes?

No one is against anything. No one is arguing. They are answering questions on why they don't believe God exists. It's an opinion, just like saying God does exists is an opinion. Nice try trying to stir things up though.

What exists is people's belief in god. If someone told you that the Easter Bunny exists, you wouldn't go looking for the Easter Bunny to argue with. You would argue with people who you see as wrong.
Either way, I don't argue. I defend my beliefs, I don't speak for Atheism as a whole or try to prove that I'm right. As soon as questions stop being asked about what I as an Atheist person believe, I'll stop 'arguing'.

"Why argue about being a athiest, when the fact is that, when you argue, you are actually against something that "exists" right?"
Er, wrong. God doesn't exist.
Are you suggesting that argument creates god? That's, well, ridiculous, to put it nicely.

Athiests, like anyone else on this planet, will argue when their views are challenged.
No, to an atheist, no gods exist.

Fact? What school were you 'educated' in. BTW, when using the adjective 'a' or 'an', you see whether the following word begins with a consonant or a vowel to determine which is appropriate. Also, you misspelled 'atheist'. Why would you argue anything if you can't spell correctly or use proper grammer?

I'm an athiest (not only do I not believe in god, but people who do make me angry) and I don't argue my view. I choose to not participate in any of it because rather than my goals being to hoist my views on other people, they are simply to get people to leave me alone. :)

Unless the atheist is proselytizing there is not need. But if the atheist feels that the truth is there is no God, then he is acting on his conscience I suppose.
I think it is normal for people who make serious progress in their spiritual lives to pose this question. Perhaps a good sign that will lead to a better believer.
